About Padri ki Haveli
St Mary's Church, built in 1772 to a design by the Venetian architect Tiretto, and the oldest church in Bihar. The bell was cast in 1782 and the church was plundered by Mir Qasim's troops before that. Mother Teresa trained as a nurse here in 1948 before starting her work in Calcutta. Christmas midnight mass fills it.
