About Toorji ka Jhalra
A stepwell built in the 1740s by a queen of Abhay Singh, then silted up and used as a rubbish dump for decades until it was dug out in 2014. The steps go down some sixty metres in rose sandstone and local boys dive off them into the water. Cafes have grown up around the square, which makes it an easy stop between Ghanta Ghar and the fort road.
