About Sessa Orchid Sanctuary
A 100 sq km orchid sanctuary on the Bhalukpong to Bomdila road, with about 200 orchid species in the wet forest and a small orchidarium at Sessa village by the highway. Most travellers see only the roadside part on the drive up. Serious orchid people come in April and May, when the epiphytes flower. The forest joins Eaglenest to the west.
