About Saheliyon ki Bari
Maharana Sangram Singh II laid it out in the early 1700s for the forty-eight maids who came in a princess's dowry, or so the story goes. It is a formal garden of fountains fed by gravity from Fateh Sagar, a lotus pool, marble elephants and kiosks, and the fountains still run without pumps when the lake is full. Small, quick, and best in the morning before the coach parties.
What to see and do
- The gravity-fed fountains
- The lotus pool and its four marble elephants
- Rain fountains in the kiosks
- A small science museum in the grounds
