About Bagore ki Haveli

Built in the 1750s by Amar Chand Badwa, a prime minister of Mewar, right on Gangaur Ghat, and restored by the West Zone Cultural Centre after decades as a government store. The 138 rooms hold puppets, costumes and a very large turban. What most people come for is the Dharohar show at 7 pm: an hour of Rajasthani folk dance in the courtyard, including the woman who dances with a stack of pots on her head. Tickets from 6 pm.
