About Agra Fort
Akbar started the red sandstone walls in 1565 and Shah Jahan filled the inside with white marble, so the fort is the two Mughal styles side by side. Only a third or so is open, the rest is army, but that includes the Jahangiri Mahal, the Diwan-i-Am and Diwan-i-Khas, and the Musamman Burj, where Shah Jahan spent his last years looking at the Taj and died in 1666. Enter by the Amar Singh gate. Two to three hours is right.
