About Viceregal Lodge
The grand stone residence of the British Viceroy, built in the 1880s and now home to the Indian Institute of Advanced Study. The guided tour covers the rooms where important meetings, including the 1945 Simla Conference, were held. The gardens are well kept, and the building is a good example of Elizabethan style.
