About Bhimakali Temple, Sarahan

A beautiful temple complex in the Pahari style, with tiered roofs of slate and wood, dedicated to Bhimakali, the guardian goddess of the old Bushahr kings. Sarahan sits right below the Shrikhand Mahadev peak, which can be seen from the village. The temple is a pleasing mix of Hindu and Buddhist architecture, and it is quiet in the off season.
