About Hatu Peak
The highest peak around Narkanda, about 7 km from the town, with the wooden Hatu Mata temple at the top and a fine view of the Shivalik, the Pir Panjal and the Kinnaur Kailash. The road is steep but motorable, or you can walk through the forest. The air is cold even in summer, and snow covers the peak in winter.
