About Narkanda
A small town on the old Hindustan Tibet road, 65 km from Shimla, with apple orchards, deodar forests and a ski slope in winter. It is the base for the Hatu Peak walk and for the Tani Jubbar lake trek. The mountain views here are wide, covering the snow ranges of Kinnaur on a clear day.
