About Jakhu Temple

A Hanuman temple on Jakhu Hill, the highest point of Shimla, reached by a steep walk or a ropeway from the Ridge. A very tall Hanuman statue stands nearby, and the forest around has many monkeys, so keep food and glasses out of reach. The view of the town and the snow peaks on a clear day is the main reward.
