About Vaishali Archaeological Museum

The ASI site museum on the bank of the coronation tank, opened in 1971 to hold the finds from Raja Vishal ka Garh and the mounds around: terracotta figurines and seals, coins, iron and copper objects, and stone sculpture from the Sunga to Pala periods. Four rooms, an hour, and it makes sense of the low mounds outside. Closed on Fridays.
