About Buddha Samyak Darshan Museum
Opened in July 2025, a large new complex with a sandstone memorial stupa at its centre built to house the relic casket dug out of the Vaishali stupa in 1958, brought back from Patna Museum after nearly seventy years. There is a museum on the Buddha’s life and the Licchavis, a meditation hall and a library, set in landscaped grounds. It is new, so expect the details to keep changing.
