About Ramgarh Tal
A natural lake of about 700 hectares on the southeast side of the city, cleaned up and given a long promenade in the last decade. Nauka Vihar runs boats and there is a water sports complex with jet skis and kayaks; a tall Buddha statue stands on the shore. It is where Gorakhpur goes in the evening, so expect chaat stalls and crowds on the walkway.
