About Shaheed Ashfaq Ullah Khan Zoological Park
A 121-acre zoo opened in 2021 next to Ramgarh Tal, the third in the state, with tigers, leopards, rhinos, bears and a good aviary in fairly roomy enclosures. It is closed on Mondays. Kushmi forest starts just beyond it on the Deoria road, with Vinod Van deer park and the Budhiya Mai temple inside the sal, and makes a decent add-on.
