About Phool Bagh and Kanpur Sangrahalaya
The old Queen Victoria Park on Mall Road, renamed for Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi, the journalist killed in the 1931 riots. The white King Edward Memorial hall in the middle is now the Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Smarak and houses Kanpur Sangrahalaya, a small museum of 1857 relics, coins and the city under the British. Gandhi addressed meetings here.
