About Moti Jheel
A rectangular reservoir built in British days as part of the city waterworks and turned into a park, with lawns, a children's play area and a path round the water. It is where Kanpur walks in the evening. Kamla Retreat, the Singhania estate with its own museum, is next door and open by appointment.
