About Japanese Peace Pagoda

A white stupa on a hill in the forest above Darjeeling, built by the Japanese Buddhist order Nipponzan Myohoji, with four golden Buddha statues. The walk to it is shaded, and the view of the town and of Kanchenjunga is good on a clear morning. Prayers are held at dawn and dusk. It pairs well with the Japanese temple next to it, and is a short taxi ride from town.
