About Happy Valley Tea Estate
One of the oldest tea estates in Darjeeling, a short walk from the town, with a factory tour that shows how the leaves are plucked, withered, rolled, dried and graded. The estate has terraces of tea and a tasting room. The first flush is picked in March and April, and the second flush in May and June. The factory works on weekdays, so plan your visit then. Buy tea only from the estate shop or reliable sellers.
