About Moosi Maharani ki Chhatri
A two-storey cenotaph beside the Sagar tank behind the City Palace, raised in 1815 for Bakhtawar Singh and his companion Moosi, who committed sati on his pyre. The base is red sandstone, the upper pavilion white marble with carved ceilings showing scenes from the epics. It is best seen early, with the tank still and the fort on the ridge behind.
