About Molela terracotta village
A potters' village on the Nathdwara road where the Kumhar families make votive terracotta plaques of Devnarayan and other folk gods, sold to Bhil and Gujjar pilgrims who come each year to replace the ones in their village shrines. The plaques are hollow-backed, hand-built and fired in the open, and carry a GI tag. Walk into any courtyard with a kiln and someone will show you.
