About Dwarkadhish Temple, Kankroli
The third seat of the Pushtimarg after Nathdwara and Kota, installed in 1676 by Maharana Raj Singh on the shore of the lake he had just built. The Krishna image is the Dwarkadhish form and, as at Nathdwara, darshan runs to a timetable rather than all day. Combine it with Nauchowki across the water; the two are a ten-minute drive apart.
What to see and do
- The Dwarkadhish image and its timed darshan
- Lake-shore setting
- Nauchowki ten minutes away
- Nathdwara 17 km up the road
