About Charbhuja Temple, Garhbor
A four-armed Vishnu that Mewar has treated as one of its four great shrines since the temple went up in 1444, at Garhbor on the road between Rajsamand and Kumbhalgarh. The image is bathed and carried in procession on Jal Jhulni Ekadashi in Bhadrapad, when the village fills for a fair. Otherwise a quiet, working village temple that fits easily into a Kumbhalgarh day.
