About Mayem Lake
A freshwater lake on the road to Bicholim, with a small park and a boat club, that makes a quiet change from the beaches. The water is calm and ringed with trees, and a few migratory birds visit in the cooler months. The tree lined path is good for an easy walk. Weekends bring local picnickers, so mornings and weekdays are more peaceful.
