About Anjuna Beach and Wednesday Flea Market
A rocky beach that grew popular in the 1960s with travellers and still carries that mix of cafes, music and craft stalls. The Wednesday flea market on the cliff above, running through the season, sells clothes, spices, lamps and jewellery, and bargaining is expected. The rocks make the beach unsuitable for long swims, so most come for the view, the market and a late lunch. Mind your bag in the crowd.
