About Calangute and Baga Beaches
The busiest stretch of coast in Goa. Calangute is the long family beach with shacks and water sports, and Baga, a few kilometres north, is the party end with clubs and a creek behind the sand. It is crowded from December to January, so go in the first hour of the day if you want the sea to yourself. Water sports stop in the monsoon and the sea is dangerous then. Use licensed operators only.
