About Chorla Ghat
A forested pass in the Sahyadri, where Goa meets Karnataka and Maharashtra, with cool air and thick mist in the monsoon. The winding road runs through dense forest and passes a few waterfalls, including Vazra Sakla, which is at its best after heavy rain. It is a drive for people who like jungle roads, so go in daylight, expect patchy mobile signal, and check the road before heading out in heavy rain. Animals use this road, so avoid stopping on it at dusk.
