About Manasbal Lake
A calm lake about 30 km from Srinagar, known as the deepest in Kashmir and for its lotus flowers in July and August. Birds gather here in winter, and the Jharokha Bagh, a small Mughal garden, stands on its bank. It is less visited than Dal and good for a quiet shikara ride.
