About Kashmir Great Lakes Trek
A famous 7 to 8 day trek from Sonamarg to Naranag, crossing high passes and passing Vishansar, Kishansar, Gadsar and Gangabal lakes. The route goes through alpine meadows that are carpeted with flowers in July and August. The trail is demanding and best done with a reputable operator, with acclimatisation and warm gear. It is only open from July to September.
