About Kheer Bhawani Temple
A temple of the goddess Ragnya Devi at Tulmulla, built around a sacred spring that is believed to change colour. It is the most important shrine of the Kashmiri Pandit community, and a large mela is held on Jyeshtha Ashtami in May or June, when devotees offer kheer. The temple stands among chinar trees, and is a calm stop on the way to Sonamarg.
