About Kaladgad
A small remote fort in the Bhandardara belt, ringed by much better known neighbours and visited by hardly anyone. The approach is through forest and the last stretch is steep. Go with someone who has been, because the path is easy to lose.
What to see and do
- Steep forested approach from Ambit
- Views to Harishchandragad and Ratangad
- Cisterns on the small summit
Part of Sahyadri (Western Ghats).
