About Jeen Mata Temple

A goddess temple at the foot of the Aravalli about 30 km south of Sikar, roughly a thousand years old and the kuldevi of many Shekhawati families. The story tells of Jeen and her brother Harsh, whose hill temple stands above, and of a swarm of bees that drove off an army sent to destroy the shrine. The Navratri fairs in Chaitra and Ashwin fill the village for nine days each.
