About Harshnath Temple

A 10th-century Shiva temple on the summit of Harsh hill, built around 973 under the Chauhans of Sakambhari and now in ruins, its finest carvings moved to the Sikar museum but plenty left on the ground. A newer Shiva temple stands beside it and wind turbines line the ridge. The road up from Jeenmata is steep and narrow and the view takes in most of Sikar district.
