About Ganeshwar
Excavations on the Kantli river here turned up over a thousand copper objects from around 3000 to 2000 BC, arrowheads, fish hooks and bangles, and Ganeshwar is now thought to have supplied copper to the Harappan cities. There is nothing to see of the digs, but the village is a local pilgrimage stop for its hot spring, channelled into a bathing kund below a Shiva temple.
