About Hanuman Dhara

A Hanuman shrine tucked against a cliff face 4 km from Ramghat, where a spring drops onto the idol and runs off into a tank, cooling Hanuman after he burnt Lanka. It is around 600 steps up and a ropeway runs when the crowds justify it. Sita Rasoi is a further climb above with a view over the whole Chitrakoot bowl.
