About Gurudwara Pathar Sahib

A gurudwara on the Leh to Kargil highway, built in memory of Guru Nanak, who is believed to have visited. A large boulder with a body-shaped impression is kept as a sacred relic. The Indian Army looks after the shrine and serves tea and langar to travellers. It is a calm place to stop on the road.
