About Durga Kund Temple
An 18th-century Nagara-style temple painted red with ochre, built by Rani Bhabani of Natore in Bengal, standing beside a large stone tank. Foreigners call it the monkey temple for obvious reasons; hold on to your glasses. Non-Hindus may look in from the courtyard. Tulsi Manas Mandir, with the whole Ramcharitmanas carved on its marble walls, is two minutes away.
