About Thasiama Seno Neihna
A small flat top on a near-vertical rock face at Vaphai, a village 80 km south-east of Champhai near the border. The name means the place where Thasiama had his mithun calve: the story is that his animal climbed to a ledge no one could reach and calved there, and the ledge is still difficult. At Dungtlang on the same road is Lianchhiari Lunglen Tlang, the cliff where the chief daughter Lianchhiari pined for the lover her family refused.
