About Lengteng Wildlife Sanctuary
A sanctuary of about 60 square kilometres around Lengteng Tlang, at 2141 metres the second highest peak in Mizoram, roughly 45 km north of Champhai. Serow, goral, barking deer and Hume pheasant are the animals; the forest and the height are the point. Facilities are almost nil, so arrange the permit, a local guide and transport in Champhai and treat it as a long day or a camp.
