About Sirsi Dam & Wyndham Falls
Wyndham Falls, spelled Windom on the signboards, drops through a rock garden 14 km south of Mirzapur, with Sirsi Dam and its reservoir a short drive on. The falls run only from the monsoon into October and are a trickle after; the rocks are slippery and the pools have taken lives, so keep off the edge when the flow is high. A city picnic spot, busiest on Sundays.
