About Se Cathedral

One of the largest churches in Asia, begun in 1562 and finished in 1619, with a Tuscan outside and a Corinthian interior. Its tall tower once held a famous Golden Bell, said to be the biggest in Goa, whose sound carried across the old city. Inside are many carved altars, with the main altar of St Catherine near the front. Stay for a few minutes of the quiet and look at the long nave.
