About Salaulim Dam and Kurdi

A large earthen dam on the Salaulim river in Sanguem, with a garden at the foot and a wide reservoir behind. Kurdi, a village drowned when the dam filled, is a quiet story, and in dry months some old structures show above the water. The lakeside is peaceful in the evening. Do not walk into the muddy bed when the water is low.
