About Agonda Beach

A long, curved, calm beach in Canacona, kept low-key by local rules on the size of stays and shacks. Olive Ridley turtles come ashore to nest in the cooler months, and the area is protected, so keep off the roped sections and avoid night lights. Sunsets are good and the sea is usually gentle early in the season. A relaxed alternative to the busier beaches in the north.
