About Butterfly Beach
A small secluded beach north of Palolem, reached by a boat from Palolem in the season, or by an uneven trek over the hill. It is named after the butterflies often seen in the shade, and dolphins are sometimes sighted on the boat ride. Facilities are nil, so take water and snacks. The trek is steep and has no shade. Avoid it when the sea is rough, as the landing is hard then.
