About Kakolem (Tiger) Beach
A tiny hidden beach below Cabo de Rama, reached by a steep path of rocks and steps, often with a freshwater stream trickling onto the sand. There are no shacks, no shops and only a few people. The way down is steep and slippery, and the way back is a climb, so wear shoes with grip, carry water and pack out your rubbish. Avoid it in the monsoon and at high tide, when parts of the path become unsafe.
