About Goa Chitra Museum, Benaulim
A private ethnographic museum at Benaulim, set up by the artist Victor Hugo Gomes, filled with traditional Goan farm tools, wooden ploughs, kitchen items, boats and household objects. A guided tour explains how fields, fishing and homes worked before machines. It is a good rainy-day stop and gives a very different view of Goa. Keep an hour or two and ask for a guide at the start.
