About Raniji ki Baori
Rani Nathavati built the finest of the fifty-odd stepwells of Bundi in 1699, forty-six metres deep, with carved gateways, a high arched torana and reliefs of Vishnu avatars on the pillars. It sits in a busy square near the bus stand and the ASI keeps it well. Two more stepwells, the Nagar Sagar twins, are a short walk away.
