About Nawal Sagar
The square artificial lake at the foot of the palace, with a half-drowned temple to Varuna in the middle and the whole palace and fort reflected in it when the water is high and still. Rooftop guesthouses around it exist for this view. The lake depends on the monsoon and can be low and green by summer.
