About Bundi Garh Palace

The palace climbs the hill under Taragarh in a stack of courtyards and pavilions built between the 16th and 18th centuries, and Kipling wrote that it was the work of goblins rather than men. The Chitrashala at the top is the reason to come: rooms painted floor to ceiling in the blue-green Bundi style with Krishna, court processions and hunts. The rest of the palace is mostly bare and half-restored, which suits it.
