About Om Banna Temple
Om Singh Rathore died here on his Royal Enfield in 1988, and when the police impounded the bike it is said to have kept returning to the crash site. The motorcycle now sits garlanded in a glass case beside the highway and drivers stop to offer liquor and pray for a safe journey. It is a working shrine with heavy traffic, about 50 km from Jodhpur on the Pali road.
